Privacy Policy
Will It Pickle? is a backyard court planning website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when we share it when you visit https://willitpickle.com, search for a property, use the planner, or request follow-up from an installation partner.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways.
- Information you provide. If you request a review or installer follow-up, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, property address, court type or layout details, map center, sharing URL, and the time of submission.
- Planner and map data. When you search for or select an address, address fragments, selected addresses, and map coordinates may be processed to show the planner experience and reverse geocode the property.
- Usage and device data. We may collect page views, clicks, referrers, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP, crash or error data, and A/B testing state.
- Session analytics. We use product analytics and session replay tools to understand how the site is used and to debug issues. Input fields are configured to be masked, but other on-screen activity may still be captured in replay tools.
How we use information
- Provide the planner, map overlays, address lookup, and related site features.
- Respond to your requests and route installer-review requests to relevant partners.
- Operate, secure, monitor, debug, and improve the website and lead flow.
- Measure usage, test variations, and understand which pages and features perform well.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the site against abuse, fraud, and misuse.
When we share information
We may disclose information in the following situations:
- Service providers. We use third parties that help us run the site, including hosting and analytics providers such as Vercel and PostHog, mapping and geocoding providers such as Mapbox, and database infrastructure such as Supabase.
- Installation partners. If you submit a request for a review, quote, or follow-up, we may share the information relevant to that request with local installation partners so they can contact you.
- Legal and business events. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.
Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
- Our analytics tooling may use cookies, local storage, or similar identifiers to recognize returning browsers, measure engagement, and record sessions for debugging.
- You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, but some site features may work less reliably if you block them.
Important note about planner links
Planner URLs may contain a property address and/or map coordinates. If you copy, share, or forward a planner link, treat it as sensitive because it may reveal the property you were evaluating.
Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including lead handling, operations, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. Retention periods may vary by data type and by the settings of the providers we use.
Your choices and requests
You may choose not to submit lead forms or planner information. If you want to request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, contact us using any public contact details we make available on the site or in follow-up communications we send about your request.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. At this time, the site does not respond to Do Not Track signals with a separate collection mode. We do not knowingly allow third parties to use this site for cross-context behavioral advertising, but analytics, mapping, hosting, and infrastructure providers may still receive device and usage data when you use the site for the purposes described in this policy.
Children's privacy
The site is intended for a general audience planning home projects and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to the site, contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the last-updated date above.
